Friday Activities

The kids are LOVING yoga time with Joy. We have been working on breathing and movements and when not in our yoga session we are using those techniques to deal with two-year-old emotions and conflict between them. They are so beautiful and I love their interest in practicing yoga!

Rubbing their hands together, warming up.

Balance activity.

Balancing!

Picking up puff balls with their toes and walking with them (sorry for the blur!).

A breathing exercise, blowing puff balls.

Working together!

If he isn't in a exersaucer (not playing in the grass) he eats leaves.
He was catching leaves that were falling from the trees to compensate.
Bottom line, he loves to eat, even if it's leaves!

All the littles are working on color identification and doing GREAT. They sorted blocks by colors!

We went for a walk in the park.

They took collection buckets to collect leaves, sticks, and rocks to bring home.

Tree huggers!
Our neighbor friend came over after our walk in the park and played with the littles. He is 4, and super cool. The littles spent the vast majority of their day outside since we had beautiful weather! Other activities were marching in a parade around the house with music instruments, working with our learning materials, drinking smoothies (with zucchini added for getting some veggies in), snacking on cantaloupe and oranges, eating whole wheat spaghetti for lunch, playing with our baby chicks, coloring with crayons, practicing introductions (Hi, my name is Ez, I am 2!), and practicing our grace and courtesy lessons- sharing!
